Freshman “Mid-Twenties Fifteen,” it was great! However, as I was looking for a new role last March, it wasn’t the perks I was looking for; it was the culture.
I wanted to represent a company whose values I aligned with, work with a leadership team who “got it,” and alongside people I was proud to call my colleagues. As most of us have learned, who you work with can make or break your experience with a company. I enjoy recruiting candidates who are my potential colleagues and finding others who share the same passion for people and technology as we do. It’s truly the perfect blend of independence and collaboration. The other major benefit of having regional offices: no air travel! To be fair, it happens every once in awhile but it’s rare, very rare. Let’s be honest. We’re human too and we value a work-life balance. We’d much rather be with our families in the middle of the week than in an airport or hotel. By hiring local talent we’re doing our part by strengthening the local economy which reinforces our belief in the importance of giving back to the community in which we live and work. Our regional offices support local philanthropic organizations that are close to their hearts, further rooting our relationships and impacting our local communities,
